Yiyang Rubber Machinery successfully applied environmental protection equipment
The organic wastewater treatment system developed and manufactured by Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group Co., Ltd. has been successfully commissioned at the client's facility earlier this month. This advanced equipment is designed to handle 40 tons of high-concentration organic wastewater per day, making it a powerful solution for challenging industrial effluents.
The wastewater in question contains extremely high levels of phenolic compounds, along with dark coloration, a strong pungent odor, and very high chemical oxygen demand (COD) reaching up to 60,000 mg/L and biological oxygen demand (BOD) as high as 30,000 mg/L. These characteristics make it particularly difficult to treat using conventional methods. To address this challenge, Yiyang has integrated UASB (Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket) technology with the Microbac SAFF (Submerged Aeration Fixed Film) system, creating an efficient and reliable treatment process that ensures the treated water meets national discharge standards.
As part of its strategy to expand into the environmental protection equipment market, Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery has partnered with the British company Macbek. Together, they have developed specialized wastewater treatment systems tailored for various industries, including domestic sewage, printing and dyeing wastewater, papermaking wastewater, heavy metal ion-laden wastewater, pharmaceutical wastewater, and locomotive oil wastewater.
In addition to the 40-ton-per-day system, the company has also completed a smaller-scale unit capable of treating 3 tons of heavy metal ion wastewater daily. This equipment will also be officially launched and put into operation soon, further demonstrating Yiyang’s commitment to providing sustainable and effective wastewater treatment solutions.
