Legacy panel discontinuation with launch of new panel
Bender Inc., a leading provider of electrical safety system monitoring and fault location detection, has introduced a new line of isolated power panels tailored for healthcare facilities. This innovative product line is designed to meet the evolving needs of modern medical environments while ensuring continued compliance with the highest safety standards.
As part of this transition, Bender will be phasing out all previous panel models. The company has outlined a clear timeline to help customers plan accordingly:
- **June 28, 2019**: Official announcement of the discontinuation of legacy power panels and the phase-out plan.
- **August 2, 2019**: Final day to place orders for legacy designs at standard lead times and pricing.
- **October 4, 2019**: Last date for accepting purchase orders for legacy panel models.
- **January 6, 2020**: All pending projects will be converted to the new design or released for production, with full delivery completed by April 8, 2020.
- **April 8, 2020**: Final shipping date for legacy panel products, after which they will be officially obsolete.
Isolated power systems play a crucial role in maintaining electrical safety in critical environments. By detecting ground faults early, these systems allow essential medical equipment to remain operational even in the event of a single fault. Bender’s latest technology ensures fast, accurate, and automatic fault detection, helping to prevent potential hazards and maintain system reliability.
Compliance with NFPA 99 and CSA Z32 standards is mandatory in “wet procedure locations†within healthcare facilities. Bender’s new isolated power panels are specifically engineered to meet these requirements, featuring a modular design that allows for easy upgrades and scalability over time.
In addition to the new product line, Bender is expanding its service offerings to support these systems. This includes maintenance, retrofitting of older equipment, alarm troubleshooting, and on-site support from factory-trained technicians across the country.
