Bluestar Machinery Propylene Compressor Secondary Inhaler Launches
On October 17, Sichuan Bluestar Machinery Co. successfully completed the delivery of key equipment for the Dushanzi Petrochemical 1.2 million-ton-per-year ethylene project. The contract included critical components such as two propylene compressor sections, three-stage suction tanks, and various dryers, including cracking gas condensate dryers, protection dryers, and hydrogen dryers. The total value of the contract exceeded 11 million yuan, marking a significant milestone for the company.
The second section of the propylene compressor is particularly notable, with a length of 17.6 meters, a diameter of 4.5 meters, and a weight of 51 tons. Its successful installation not only ensured the timely delivery of the project’s essential equipment but also demonstrated Bluestar Machinery’s growing capabilities in the localization, large-scale production, and serialization of ethylene plant equipment.
Dushanzi Petrochemical, one of China's major energy hubs, has invested over 25 billion yuan in its world-scale oil refining and 1.2 million-ton-per-year ethylene project expansion. The project incorporates eight internationally recognized patents, with most of the advanced technical equipment sourced from renowned global companies such as Germany’s Linde and the U.S.-based Shaw Group’s Shiwei Company.
