U.S. plans to build submarine gas pipeline on the coast of New Jersey

Canadian Energy Corporation announced recently that it plans to build a 50-mile underwater natural gas pipeline on the coast of New Jersey. If approved by the state and federal regulatory agencies, it will invest $550 million to build the project by 2011. The pipeline will provide natural gas to 11 million users per day. At present, Mobil has planned to establish a one-billion-dollar floating LNG terminal. In the United States, data indicate that there are a large number of untapped natural gas fields on the sea floor.
However, given the current soaring energy prices, the United States will build more energy infrastructure and more diversified energy sources to help reduce energy prices. At the same time, vigorously promote new energy projects, especially those that are renewable energy projects.
