New ambulances for Downers Grove

Just got some exciting updates from the Downers Grove Professional Firefighters Association's Facebook page. Looks like Station 103 and Station 105 are getting brand-new medic units! Foster Coach did the build using Horton modules mounted on 2024 Ford F550 chassis. Big thanks to the Village of Downers Grove for making this happen and providing top-notch equipment for their firefighters. I snagged some photos from their official feed. The first one shows the sleek design of the new ambulances—definitely a step up in terms of functionality and aesthetics. You can see how they’ve integrated everything to make sure these units are ready for any emergency situation. They look incredibly solid and well-built, which is exactly what you’d expect from vehicles meant to handle tough conditions. The second image gives a slightly different angle, showcasing more of the细节 that went into the design. It’s clear that a lot of thought was put into optimizing space and ensuring ease of access for both paramedics and patients. These new rigs are going to make a huge difference in response times and overall efficiency. Here’s another shot that really highlights the interior setup. It’s impressive how they’ve managed to pack so much gear while still maintaining enough room for comfortable patient transport. I’m guessing these units will be a game-changer for the Downers Grove Fire Department. Final pic just wraps it all up—it’s hard not to notice how professional and modern these ambulances look.
