2-Alarm fire in Harvard, 12-10-15

This morning at Harvard, December 10th, 2015, around 10:02 AM, there was a fire reported at 305 South Eastwood Drive, just one block north of the fire station. Box number 5-780 was activated for this incident. The first responders arrived quickly and managed to use three different lines to control the situation. Mutual aid was requested from neighboring departments including Woodstock, Hebron, Sharon WI, Marengo, Fontana WI, Linn Township WI, Boone 1, Wonder Lake, Lakewood, Richmond, McHenry, Walworth WI, and Capron Rescue. However, some of these units were called back while they were still en route due to the situation stabilizing.
The images below show the aftermath of the fire. The equipment you see in the photos is what actually arrived at the scene and remained on standby. These pictures capture the intense effort put forth by the firefighters who worked hard to contain the blaze before it could spread further.
