Fire in Joliet 7-17-12
A fire broke out on the far west side of Joliet at 6901 Grantham Drive. The incident involved a detached garage that caught fire and caused damage to the main house. Firefighters arrived quickly and used three hand lines to bring the fire under control. Joliet E10 was the first unit on scene, followed by E9, E8, T9, A9, A10, and BC 2. The crew worked efficiently to prevent the fire from spreading further, and no injuries were reported at this time.
