The 16th Taiwan Trade Fair Xiamen is about to open more than 800 exhibitors

On April 18th, the reporter learned from the Organizing Committee of the Cross-Straits Machinery and Electronic Commerce Fair and the Xiamen-Taiwan Import and Export Commodity Fair (hereinafter referred to as the “Taiwan Trade Fair”) that the 16th Taiwan Fair will be held from April 26th to 29th. More than 800 exhibiting companies were identified, with 3341 booths (3,250 last year), including 482 booths for Taiwanese and Taiwan-funded enterprises (439 last year), and the scale of the exhibition reached a record high.

It is understood that the current Taiwan Fair exhibition area planning 65,000 square meters, with machinery and equipment, printing and packaging and food machinery, instrumentation and industrial control, tooling, pump valves and materials, energy-saving lighting, construction machinery and other six professional exhibition area.

The 4th China (Xiamen) International Construction Machinery and Building Materials Machinery Exhibition, 2012 China (Xiamen) Energy-saving Lighting Exhibition and 2012 Taiwan Famous Product Show were held in the same period. In these professional exhibitions, many leading companies in the industry, such as Japan's Sodick, Japan's Panasonic welding machine, Taiwan's Xie Hong, the United States Haas, Stanley Tools, Topstar and other industry giants will focus on debut.

According to relevant persons in charge of the Organizing Committee of the Taiwan Affairs Exchange, this year's participation in the Taiwan Trade Fair has greatly improved the level of merchants. In addition to the active participation of many leading companies in the industry, a number of heavyweight units have also joined the Taiwan Fair. The China Overseas Contracting Project Chamber of Commerce became the first time to become a co-organizer of the Taiwan Fair and became the organizer of the Taiwan Construction Engineering Machinery Exhibition. Quanzhou City Government has also joined as the organizer of the Taiwan Construction Engineering Machinery Exhibition.

At present, more than 10,000 professional merchants from nearly 30 countries and regions such as South Korea, the United States, Hong Kong, and Taiwan in China have registered through the website and fax. It is expected that there will be 35,000 professional merchants participating in the current Taiwan Fair.

The reporter also learned that in addition to the large scale and large number of exhibitors, this year's Taiwan Fair will also hold various activities. At present, it has been determined that 22 forums and seminars have been held during the Taiwan Trade Fair, mainly including the “2012 Cross-Strait Economic and Trade Forum”, “2012 Weibo Marketing Conference”, “2012 Global Search Engine Marketing Conference”, and series of electromechanical professions. Forums and so on.

At the same time, in order to improve the professionalism and effectiveness of the conference, it will bring more affordable value-added services to buyers and suppliers across the Taiwan Strait. Combining the cross-strait market demand and investment trends, the Cross-strait Investment and Trade Matchmaking Association will launch a new product and new technology press conference. Purchasing Matchmaking Fair has two well-targeted project matchmaking activities and 16 well-known buyers from the “BRICS” will attend the meeting.
