Su Bo said that on the basis of the evaluation of the previous pilot work, considering that the model of methanol vehicles put into the pilot is still relatively small, according to the application of Guizhou Province and Gansu Province, it is agreed to include Guizhou and Gansu provinces as pilots of methanol vehicles.
Su Bo said that in June this year, the methanol vehicle pilot work expert group completed the record review of the pilot implementation plan of Guiyang City, Pingliang City and Lanzhou City. Three cities plan to put into operation 1,800 methanol vehicles, and are currently further revising and implementing the implementation plan according to the opinions of the expert group, and actively implementing the work before the pilot.
In 2012, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially launched pilot projects for methanol vehicles in Shanxi, Shanghai and Shaanxi provinces. So far, a total of 281 methanol vehicles including methanol cars, methanol heavy commercial vehicles, methanol city buses and mini vehicles have been put into operation.
The relevant technical test results announced at the meeting showed that the pilot methanol vehicles operated smoothly and normally, and the maximum speed, acceleration performance and climbing performance were equivalent to the design specifications, and the daily maintenance was equivalent to other vehicles.
