Since the earthquake, Shandong Province has raised a total of 3.62 billion yuan in social donations and paid 716 million yuan in special party fees. At present, Beichuan farmers’ permanent housing construction funds and new rural construction funds have been allocated 720 million yuan, 200 million yuan have been restored to the construction of agricultural production facilities, and 158 township and village resident aid construction projects have been planned. The total investment is over 1 billion yuan. Most of the projects have started construction and a number of projects have been completed and used.
According to Chen Guang, the Southwest Group of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group will be located in Mianyang High-tech Zone. This project is one of the Beichuan projects to be built in Shandong.
