The emergence of heat pump type grain dryers broke through the monopoly of traditional fuel-type, coal-fired and bio-fuel grain dryers and created a new type of grain dryer, giving farmers and cooperatives more choice. In 2013, the Cooperatives invested in the purchase of two grain dryers to build a grain drying center to overcome the unfavorable factors such as severe weather and lack of drying fields, taking into account factors such as high fuel costs, difficulty in buying oil during the busy season, and poor oil security, and purchasing hot air. The furnace was changed to a coal-fired grain drying center. In 2014, due to the expansion of production scale, the cooperatives purchased a new heat pump type grain dryer this year, which has the advantages of low cost, high efficiency, low emissions, and high safety. In the next stage, the cooperatives will conduct comparative statistics on the operation of grain dryers to provide a basis for selecting new grain dryers in the future.
