Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission recently confirmed the province's petrochemical and other key sectors of energy-saving target tasks, 1200 listed in the national "million enterprises" in Jiangsu Province, petrochemical and other key enterprises this year to complete energy-saving 5 million tons of standard coal goals. The energy consumption of these 1,200 enterprises accounted for 64% of the province's total. According to the requirements of the Jiangsu Economic and Information Technology Commission, the completion of the energy-saving targets of these 1,200 large energy-consuming households is to be assessed every year and announced to the public. For those enterprises that have not completed the annual energy-saving target tasks, relevant departments must implement mandatory energy audits and rectify the deadlines.
