India requires national state government 100 to replace LED street lights
According to reports, the Indian Lighting Association (ELCOMA) said that the Indian Ministry of Urban Development has asked the state government 100 to replace LED street lights. The renovation project will replace 27.5 million street lamps with LED street lights, which will reduce India's electricity consumption by more than 5,000 megawatts in three years. The demand was put forward after the street light survey conducted by the Energy Efficiency Bureau (BEE). The survey results show that the installation of 80% of the street lights in India is unqualified.
