Recently, Mitsubishi Motors Sales (China) Co., Ltd. and Southeast (Fujian) Automobile Industry Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall, and decided to start from September 21, 2015. The following vehicles were recalled for a total of 29,341 vehicles.
A trailing Suction Hopper Dredger or TSHD trails its Suction Pipe when working, and loads the dredge spoil into one or more hoppers in the vessel. When the hoppers are full the TSHD sails to a disposal area and either dumps the material through doors in the hull or pumps the material out of the hoppers. Generally these full block ships have a length between 40 to 130 m. The vessels are, highly manoeuvrable and they have a high installed power to operate the Dredging Equipment. Vessels operate regularly in shallow water conditions.

A. General

B. Construction and procedure

All fabricated steelwork used in the construction of the dredger Structural Pipes will be to manufacturing standard of normal or classification society.
All materials proposed will be selected to comply with the latest Health and Safety Rules.
Paint systems for hull protection will be of the highest quality (Hempel, Inter, Sigma, Jotun)
D. Welding
All welding will be performed in accordance with drawing and order and UniSite experience and all welding will be continuous and full penetration.
E. Workmanship
The workmanship have good marine practice. Care are taken to ensure fair lines, smooth surfaces and neat welding.

(1) Mitsubishi Outlander EX Jinjie 2.4L vehicles imported by Mitsubishi Motors Sales (China) Co., Ltd. from November 7, 2007 to September 27, 2012, totaling 29,083 vehicles.
(II) Mitsubishi Yishen 2.0L vehicles produced by Southeast (Fujian) Automobile Industry Co., Ltd. from April 23, 2012 to June 5, 2015, totaling 258 vehicles.
Some vehicles in this recall range have problems due to the engine ECU setting the learning value of the throttle valve opening degree, resulting in insufficient air flow. In extreme cases, the engine speed may be reduced or extinguished before and after parking, posing a safety hazard. Mitsubishi Motors Sales (China) Co., Ltd. and Southeast (Fujian) Automobile Industry Co., Ltd. will upgrade the engine ECU procedures for vehicles within the recall to eliminate safety hazards.
