· Honda recalls some imported cars because of airbag safety hazards

Recently, Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. and Guangqi Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and will recall the following imported cars:

(1) Some of the 2013 Honda-Sytech Hybrids imported by Dongfeng Honda Automobile Co., Ltd., produced from April 26, 2012 to June 29, 2012. According to its statistics, there are 100 vehicles involved in mainland China.

(2) Some of the 2013 Fit Hybrids imported by Guangqi Honda Automobile Co., Ltd., dated from July 5, 2012 to March 1, 2013. According to its statistics, there are 50 vehicles involved in mainland China.

Due to the supplier's problem, the gas generator container may be damaged when the airbag in front of the driver's seat is unfolded, causing debris to fly out, which may damage the inside of the vehicle and pose a safety hazard. The above companies will replace the airbags in front of the driver's seat for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge to eliminate the safety hazard.

Guangqi Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. will implement the recall on July 31, 2016.
