China Machinery Universal Parts Industry Self-discipline Convention

From March 21st to 23rd, 2011, the fifth meeting of the second session of the China Machinery General Components Industrial Association expanded in Wuyishan. At the second session of the fifth session of the association, the "China Machinery Universal Parts Industry Self-discipline Convention" was passed and effective on March 21, 2011. The following is the original text of the Convention:

China Machinery Universal Parts Industry Self-discipline Convention

Under the encouragement and support of national policies, China's machinery parts and components industry is in a period of strategic opportunities for independent innovation, industrial upgrading, and development from large to strong. In order to establish an industry self-discipline constraint mechanism, standardize the behavior of practitioners, promote the establishment of an industry integrity system, and maintain a fair competitive market environment, this Convention has been formulated in accordance with the State Council General Office [2007] No. 36 document and relevant national laws and regulations.

The first member of the Convention is all members of the Association, including six professional chain drives, gears, fasteners, springs, powder metallurgy and transmission joints.

Article 2 The Secretariat of the China Machinery General Parts & Components Industry Association is the regulatory agency of this Convention and is responsible for the supervision and administration of the implementation of the Convention.

Article 3 The members of the Convention shall consciously abide by the laws and regulations of the State, abide by professional ethics, and earnestly perform the obligations of industry self-regulation.

Article 4 Seriously perform the obligations stipulated in the contract, act according to the law in the conclusion, modification, and cancellation of the contract, and abide by the contract and keep promise.

Article 5 emphasizes product quality, establishes and improves internal quality management system, strictly controls quality from raw materials, production process to finished products, and implements relevant national and industry standards.

Article 6: Comply with the state's fiscal and tax laws and regulations, abide by financial discipline, conduct business with integrity, and pay tax according to regulations.

Article 7 regulates bidding and bidding activities. In the bidding, strictly in accordance with the relevant regulations of the state and the industry, openness, fairness and fairness, and maintain the normal bidding order.

Article 8: Advocating fair competition and carrying out marketing activities with quality, credibility, and enterprise strength will not harm the business reputation of competitors.

Article 9 does not use unethical means to obtain other people's trade secrets and technical information, respects the requirements of the associated customers to preserve trade secrets, and does not infringe upon the other party’s intellectual property rights.

Article 10 In international trade, the image of the country and the enterprise shall be safeguarded, and prices shall not be competed against each other, and the acts that harm the interests of the industry as a whole shall not be done.

Article 11 Jointly maintain the normal order of talent flow in the industry. Respect the other party's regulations on the flow of talents when hiring other units of talent, and not infringe the intellectual property rights of the original unit.

Article 12 The branches of the association may, according to the characteristics of their own industries, formulate self-discipline conventions for this industry as an integral part of the Convention.

Article 13 For enterprises that observe the model in an exemplary manner and have a good reputation in the industry, the association may award the title of "integrity enterprise" and use various propaganda channels and media to vigorously recognize it. Any organization or individual that violates the Convention may report it to the Association. The Association shall organize its own forces to conduct investigations and criticize the truthful investigation.

Article 14 This Convention shall be implemented after being passed by the Council of the Association.

Article 15 This Convention shall be interpreted by the Association Secretariat.

This Convention has been adopted by the Second Council of the Fifth Session of the Association and came into effect on March 21, 2011.
