Following up on the recent post and conversation about Skokie Tower 16, Jeff Rudolph captured some new photos of the truck and shared them with us. He confirmed once again that Tower 16 is still not officially in service yet. It's always interesting to see how these apparatuses develop over time, and this one seems to be in a transitional phase.

It’s clear that the department is working through the final stages of preparation for this new unit. The addition of a fresh decal on the pedestal suggests that they’re getting closer to putting it into active service.
