Hall's new marine brake motors are first produced
At the Norwegian Maritime Exhibition in June 2015, Hall officially launched the marine brake motor, and now the first batch of project orders have begun production. Since the Norwegian Maritime Exhibition, this motor has been promoted to all major markets. In April this year, Hall will once again participate in the Japan Maritime Exhibition and end the international exhibition of the product.
It is reported that this motor is specially designed for winch and crane applications in the marine and offshore platform market, which enables it to directly meet the needs of potential customers. Jonas Løgstrup Hansen, Hall Marketing Manager, explained:
“Some potential customers have purchased and used our standard marine motors from us and applied them to other equipment. Therefore, we have the advantage of knowing the specific settings and requirements of many brake motor customers.â€
Before the introduction of the new motor, the company carried out sufficient preparatory work to understand the technical and commercial aspects from the customer's point of view. This gave the company a return, and Hall Europe and Asia received orders.
In the face of the current recession in the international ship and offshore platform market, Hall Motors Asia CEOThomas Klausen said: "We have seen that new and old customers have great interest in brake motors, and it is better to introduce the market ahead of time.
