General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarrying

Recently, CCTV's Weekly Quality Report focused on the quality of roller skate products: AQSIQ found that the qualified rate was only 58.1%, and nearly half of the samples were unqualified. The most problematic issue is the brakes on roller skates. The safety requirements for 15 samples have failed the brake project. The media recently visited the Nanjing market and found that many roller skates lacked relevant signs. The harm caused by the roller skates does exist, and some children have the phenomenon of “inner character” because they wear unqualified roller skates.

It is understood that the AQSIQ has spot-checked 43 enterprises nationwide, of which 11 large and medium-sized enterprises and 32 small-scale enterprises basically represent the situation of the roller skate industry. In this supervision and inspection, the inspectors carried out five items of inspections on all 43 samples, mainly including the wheel hardness of the skates, the tightening device, the bearings, the shaft exposed portion, and the brakes. As a result, 43 batches of products were found. Among them, 25 batches were qualified, 18 batches were unqualified, and the overall pass rate was 58.1%.

Specifically, there are 15 sample safety requirements for the brake project failed, 2 sample safety requirements for bearing failure, 1 sample safety requirements shaft exposed part failed. Products with unqualified brake samples include Mi Go skates produced by Zhongshan Magao Sporting Goods Co., Ltd., Jaguar vertical adjustable skates manufactured by Jiangmen Lihua Sports Products Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Chen’s New Hang Seng Co., Ltd. Production of overbearing Dragon brand skates and other samples.

It is understood that at present, except for individual competitive roller skates, brakes are generally installed on general skates. This is what we commonly call brake devices. When obstacles, cornering, etc. are encountered, they can be braked in time to protect the human body. Safety. Products that fail to brake the project are severely defective products.

The inspectors indicated that the brakes are generally designed on the right foot of the roller skates. When an obstacle is encountered or the speed is too quick to require emergency braking, the skating person only needs to pick up the right heel and hold it to the ground. The friction brake is used to slow down the brake. Therefore, the strength of the brakes of the skates, that is, the degree of firmness, is of great significance to the safety of the user.

UVC Germicidal Series

1.What is UVC?

UVC: The wavelength is between 100-280nm, but because the wavelength below 200nm is vacuum ultraviolet, it can be absorbed by the air, so the wavelength of UVC that can penetrate the atmosphere is between 200-280nm. The shorter the wavelength, the more dangerous it is. Can be blocked by the ozone layer, and only a small amount will reach the surface of the earth.

2.What is the mechanism of UV sterilization?

UV can destroy the DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) or RNA (ribonucleic acid) molecular structure of microorganisms, so that bacteria can die or cannot reproduce, so as to achieve the purpose of sterilization.

3.Where can UVC LED be used?

According to different application scenarios, we may be able to see UVC LEDs in these applications in the future:

Surface sterilization: high-frequency public contact surfaces such as medical appliances, maternal and child products, smart toilets, refrigerators, tableware cabinets, fresh-keeping boxes, smart trash cans, thermos cups, escalator handrails and automatic ticket machine buttons, etc.;
Still water sterilization: water tank, humidifier, ice maker;
Flowing water sterilization: Flowing water sterilization module, direct water dispenser;
Air sterilization: air purifier, air conditioner.

The wavelength range of UVC LED is generally around 260nm, 275nm and 280nm.
