According to the analysis, the new national standard for electric vehicle charging interface is approaching. The problem of unreasonable charging equipment construction standards and the unclear operation service model will be solved by major companies to speed up access and platform operations. The accelerated construction of facilities will effectively eliminate the shortcomings of the current difficulty in charging new energy vehicles and accelerate the release of terminal demand.

Previously, "Connecting Devices for Conductive Charging of Electric Vehicles Part 1: General Requirements", "Connecting Devices for Conductive Charging of Electric Vehicles Part 2: AC Charging Interfaces", and "Connecting Devices for Conductive Charging of Electric Vehicles" Part 3: DC Charging Interfaces The national standards such as "and the communication protocol between non-vehicle conduction chargers and battery management systems for electric vehicles" were promulgated and implemented in 2012. However, in the process of actual implementation, the above-mentioned national standard documents are incomplete and ambiguous.

The new national standard for the charging interface being discussed and formulated will change the incompleteness and ambiguity of the original system. According to Ni Feng, a senior engineer at the Nanjing Power Technologies Branch of the State Power Group, the new national standard will try to clarify as many problems as possible in the charging interface, and will adopt more expressions in unique languages ​​to reduce the ambiguity in implementation. At the same time, the new national standard will take into account the actual situation of the existing charging facilities. However, the formulation of the new national standard faces many challenges. Ni Feng, for example, stated that the new national standard emphasizes the safety of charging, but it only needs further study to clarify the issue of how to protect the user's “security lock” during charging. Ni Feng said that in the future, he will configure corresponding “judgment agencies” to make appropriate judgments and certifications on whether or not charging products and services are compliant.

With the development of cakes in the charging facility sector, listed companies are also hurrying around, and their participation will contribute to the rapid development of the sector.
