Custer Park FPD and Braidwood Fire Department news (more)

From Custer FPD on Facebook:

The Braidwood Fire Protection District is officially starting to staff their station tomorrow, October 16th, at 6 AM. It's incredible to see the effort and dedication that the Braidwood firefighters, administration, and volunteers have put in over such a short period of time. They've completely transformed the station — fresh paint inside and out, new garage doors, a full IT infrastructure upgrade with a brand-new data closet, deep cleaning and sanitization, and helping us organize remaining assets and prepare surplus items for sale. It's been a challenging five months for all of us, but we're excited to move forward with our new partner. For the first time in Custer FPD history, we'll be offering 24/7 ALS transport ambulance service to our community. This is a major milestone and a big step forward for emergency care in our area. If you're around, feel free to stop by and say hello! A huge thank you to Braidwood FPD for their hard work and commitment. We're looking forward to working together and serving our community better than ever before.
Thanks Dennis
