Custer Park FPD and Braidwood Fire Department news (more)
The Braidwood Fire Protection District is officially starting to staff their station tomorrow, October 16th, at 6 AM. What an incredible effort by the Braidwood firefighters, their administration, and volunteers to get everything up and running so quickly after taking over responsibility for our district. They’ve done a complete interior paint job, replaced the garage doors, upgraded the entire IT infrastructure with a brand new data closet, performed a full deep clean and sanitization, and helped us inventory remaining assets and prepare surplus equipment for sale.
We know the past five months have been tough and stressful, but we’re excited to move forward with our new partner and provide the community with a 24/7 staffed ALS transport ambulance — something we’ve never had before in Custer FPD history! It’s a big step forward for emergency services in our area.
Stop by sometime and say hello! A huge thank you to Braidwood FPD for all their hard work and support.
Thanks Dennis
