Tim Olk photo Tim Olk shared this firsthand account of the incident: I was driving on I-94 near the Edens/Kennedy exit when two cars zoomed past me, both going well over 100 mph—one on my left and one on my right. As they approached the sharp turn, both lost control. All I could see was smoke and debris flying everywhere. I immediately called 911 and reported two burning cars, requested an ambulance for possible entrapment, and mentioned I was searching for any survivors. Both vehicles were fully engulfed in flames. One was a flipped Cadillac, and it looked like both drivers had been thrown out. A man was walking around, while a woman had to be pulled from the wreckage. The other driver asked me if everything was okay and just walked away, but later he was found with other stranded cars up the road. I really hate that stretch of highway after 2 a.m.—it feels like a race track.
