On August 31, 2011, the orthocresol epoxy resin plant will be commissioned and put into production. By the end of 2011, the plant will be completed and put into operation. After the project is put into production, it will further highlight the market competitive advantage, product supporting advantages, cost advantages and technical advantages of Baling Petrochemical special epoxy resin. At that time, Baling Petrochemical's total annual product volume of epoxy resin will exceed 100,000 tons, and the average annual sales revenue will exceed 2.1 billion yuan.
Zhu Jianmin, general manager of Baling Petrochemical, said that the construction of the project will effectively promote the structural adjustment and upgrading of Baling Petrochemical and domestic epoxy resin products. After the completion of the project, the proportion of the company's special epoxy resin products will be increased to more than 50. The project construction adheres to the road of resource-saving and environment-friendly, increases environmental protection investment, and develops circular economy. Through the new belt and old, all waste water generated from epoxy resin is reused to achieve zero discharge of wastewater and comprehensive utilization of recycled salt.

On September 28, Baling Petrochemical held a ceremony to start construction of an annual output of 50,000 tons of special epoxy resin and its supporting expansion project. With a total investment of 644 million yuan, this project uses the special epoxy resin production technology with independent intellectual property rights of Sinopec Corp.
